The Delgany & District Horticultural Society will hold their Rose show in the Gardens 30th June 2012.
Anybody who wishes to exhibit roses, other flowers or other produce can join the D&DHS for €10 per year. The show includes prizes for roses: hybrid tea, floribunda, climbers, ramblers, moss roses, fragrant roses, for cacti & succulents, for pelargoniums, sweet pea and fruit & veg.

There will also be a prize for the best allotment. The idea is to include all interested gardeners in this challenge to produce top class cut flowers. If you wish to show flowers in June- it will help to maintain a tradition that has existed in this area since the late 1800s and will support our first Rose Show.

Members of the RHSI and or its Affiliated Societies who have not exhibited in any Show Class for Sweet Pea since 2007 can apply through the Cooltonagh web site (cooltonagh.co.uk/rhsiproject.html).
For €3 Cooltonagh will send individual applicants a starter pack containing an advice leaflet and five seeds of five varieties of top quality Sweet Pea seed. Which we hope you will grow on and exhibit at the Rose Show in Festina Lente Gardens in June 2012.Exhibition varieties of sweet pea will be on sale from the garden shop from the January 2012.
